This configuration is appropriate for large environments to support up to 10,000 workstations, such as laptops, tablets and desktops.

Recommended SQL Server Instance: SQL Server 2014 Enterprise 64 Bit

Medium

This configuration is appropriate for medium environments to support up to 2,500 workstations, such as laptops, tablets and desktops.

Recommended SQL Server Instance: SQL Server 2014 Standard 64 Bit

Small

This configuration is appropriate for small environments to support up to 25 workstations, such as laptops, tablets and desktops.

Recommended SQL Server Instance: SQL Server 2014 Express 64 Bit

  • 200 GB of disk volume

  • 16 CPU cores

  • 32 GB RAM memory

Medium

This configuration is oriented for medium environments to support up to 2,500 laptops/tablets/desktops.

Recommended configuration:

  • 200 GB of disk volume

  • 8 CPU cores

  • 16 GB RAM memory

Small

This configuration is oriented for small environments to support up to 25 laptops/tablets/desktops.

Recommended configuration:

  • 100 GB of disk volume

  • 4 CPU cores or at minimum Dual Core

  • 8 GB RAM memory

Consider the following:

The software installation requires 40GB of disk space for Microsoft SQL Server application and database and 20 GB of temp space on the drive where the temp directory resides.

In time, you may need to provide additional space (several GB) to allow for growth in the Force LMS database. The size of the data depends on the transactions performed and amount of data stored.
